How pre-orders work

How pre-orders work on Robotto.se

In addition to our regular stock products (with a delivery time of 3–6 business days), we also have some items available for pre-order.

What does pre-order mean?

A pre-order is simply a reservation of a product before it is in our warehouse. The delivery time can vary greatly depending on the product, for example:

  • Some products are not allowed to be released earlier due to licenses/rights.
  • Sometimes the product is not yet manufactured, and the manufacturer does not accept orders too far in advance.
  • Some products are already produced but are on their way from the factory to the supplier (e.g., from Japan) and can be ordered while transportation is underway.

How do I know if an item is a pre-order?

You can always see clear information directly on the product page:

  • Next to the purchase button, there will be information stating that it is a pre-order.
  • An expected release date will be displayed above the purchase button.
  • It will also state that the item is a pre-order in the shopping cart and at checkout.
  • There will also be a banner on the image indicating that it is a pre-order.

What happens after I place a pre-order?

When you place an order for a pre-ordered product, payment works as follows:

  1. 20% is debited immediately when the order is placed.
  2. When the item arrives in stock, we will send a payment link for the remaining 80%, where you can choose your payment method.
  3. Once payment is approved, we will ship the item to you.

If your order is split

If an order is split and sent in multiple deliveries, a new shipping fee will be charged per shipment/item sent out.
