Gundam is one of the most iconic series within the mecha genre, and there are many different universes to explore within this fascinating world. From the traditional war dramas of "Universal Century" to the more imaginative "Future Century" narratives, each Gundam universe offers its own unique characteristics.
Universal Century (UC)
Universal Century is the original and perhaps most well-known Gundam universe. Here, realistic military tactics are combined with in-depth character development and political intrigues. In this universe, we follow the struggle between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. A model that captures this era is the HGUC Asshimar 1/144 Model Kit, which offers a detailed representation of the mobile suit.
Future Century (FC)
This universe provides a more playful and imaginative interpretation of the Gundam series. In "Future Century," the focus is on tournaments where different countries compete with their respective Gundam units. Here, colorful and creative designs are in focus. For those who like creative design, the SDW Heroes Onmitsu Gundam Aerial - Model Kit and Figure is an excellent choice.
After Colony (AC)
Many Gundam fans began their journey in the After Colony universe, where the "Gundam Wing" series plays a central role. This universe is known for its dramatic character arcs and epic battles. The MG Gundam Wing Ver Ka 1/100 model offers a fantastic kit for those who love this universe.
Build Fighters (BF)
In "Build Fighters," we encounter a more lighthearted and energetic tone where Gunpla battles are central. Here, creativity and construction are in focus, and fans are encouraged to create their own unique models. An interesting kit to consider is the HGBF Gundam Denial 1/144 Model, which perfectly represents this world of creation.
